How much equity do you take?
10-20% depending on MVP complexity and timeline. 2-week MVP = ~10%, 4-week MVP = ~15-20%. We use standard SAFE agreements with valuation cap and discount.
What if we already have funding?
This program is designed for pre-seed/bootstrapped startups looking to preserve cash. If you have funding, consider our standard Technical Services (cash-based) or Vibe Engineers placement instead.
What happens after the MVP?
You own 100% of the code. You can: (1) continue working with r3factory on a cash basis, (2) hire an in-house team, or (3) place a Vibe Engineer via our talent division. We remain advisors and investors.
Do you provide funding beyond the MVP?
No. We build the MVP for equity, but we're not a VC fund. However, we can introduce you to investors in our network (including Anthony Bourbon's Blast.club with €80M+ raised).
What if the MVP scope changes mid-project?
We scope carefully upfront to avoid this. Minor tweaks are fine. Major scope changes require renegotiating equity % or switching to a cash model for the delta.
Can we buy back the equity later?
Possibly. We're open to discussing buyback clauses at certain milestones (e.g., Series A). This is negotiated case-by-case during legal structuring.
